About Us

Welcome, from Kimberley Swimming Club’s Poolside Team

We are delighted that you have decided to join us.

As you will see from the statement of our aims and philosophy, we aim to help every swimmer achieve their full potential.

Kimberley Swimming Club teaches swimmers of all ages to the highest standards.

Although the Club is ambitious, it is our aim to develop swimmers without undue pressure, in a friendly, fun, injury-free, supportive and non-aggressive environment.

I believe that all its members - swimmers, coaches and parents - should feel strongly that they are an important part of a club with a strong team-spirit, working together and supporting each other to reach new levels of achievement.

Mission Statement

Our main aim is to provide the swimmers of Kimberley Swimming Club with a safe, friendly, enjoyable but competitive environment in which to train and swim, whilst encouraging non-swimmers to help and support the club in achieving this aim. Currently, we are one of the largest swimming clubs in Nottinghamshire.

Kimberley Swimming Club is a teaching swimming club

with a competitive squad and our aim is to produce swimmers who represent Kimberley at inter-club galas, in the Nottinghamshire leagues, County Galas and in the Midland District Competitions.  We also hold our own Club Championships every year.

We are also keen to provide a healthy social side to the club and arrange a number of events during the year, these have included a trip to Splash Landings at Alton Towers and the Pantomine at Nottingham Playhouse.  Annually there is the Family Fun Day, Fun Gala and Presentation Evening.
